Annie Loyd, an inspiring writer, lecturer, activist and facilitator resided in Phoenix, AZ for more than 20 years sharing her unique message of joy and compassion. In 2013, Annie, returned to the community of her birth in the sacred lands of the Black Hills of South Dakota, where buffalo roam and deer and antelope play all day!
Annie is returning to the valley for a short time, sharing her compassionate message of “Love is the Answer - – – A Design for Living in chaos!” A conversation about radical forgiveness, recovery, the politics of enlightenment.
Annie Loyd delivers a message informed from a multitude of disciplines and teachings from Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism and Indigenous Spirituality to Conscious Evolution, the Localist, Women’s, Justice, and Peace movements, and 23 years of recovery from drugs and alcohol.
Annie will be joined by Dr. Eileen Borris and Daniel Hirtz.
As a clinical and political psychologist with more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Eileen Borris works with emerging democracies, helping nations of people reconcile centuries-old conflicts through forgiveness. Dr. Borris is a faculty member at Thunderbird School of Global Management at ASU and President of Forgiveness International, a nonprofit organization which promotes political forgiveness.
Her first book, “Finding Forgiveness,” with the foreword by the Dalai Lama, leads the reader using a
7-step Program for letting go of anger and bitterness. In Dr. Borris’ upcoming book, “Forgiveness and the Healing of Nations” she shares strategies for conflict resolution that she hopes will become required reading and a reference book for diplomacy in every embassy in the world.

Daniel Hirtz has traveled across several continents. Originally from Germany where he lived the first 21 years of his life. Then moved to Vienna, Austria where he resided for almost 15 years and met Ingrid, the love of his life. Since 1992, Daniel has inspired multitudes of communities through his work of Holistic Tuning, Breathe for Peace and his beautiful engaging art as a passionate drummer. Daniel has charmed crowds with his mesmerizing dance of grace with the north Indian tabla over the last 30 + years.

MOHESHALI, Bangladesh – Something went terribly wrong when Asta Banu gave birth. Her labour was difficult and seemed to take forever. When the baby – a boy – was finally born, he was unresponsive. Although Ms. Banu's family quickly arranged transportation to the Thakurgaon District Hospital, their efforts were in vain. During the 20 km drive, the baby slipped into a coma and died.
