In 2013, Annie, returned to the community of her birth in the sacred lands of the Black Hills of South Dakota, where buffalo roam and deer and antelope play all day!
Annie is returning to the valley for a short time, sharing her compassionate message of “Love is the Answer - – – A Design for Living in chaos!” A conversation about radical forgiveness, recovery, the politics of enlightenment.
Annie Loyd delivers a message informed from a multitude of disciplines and teachings from Christianity, Buddhism, Taoism and Indigenous Spirituality to Conscious Evolution, the Localist, Women’s, Justice, and Peace movements, and 23 years of recovery from drugs and alcohol.
Annie will be joined by Dr. Eileen Borris and Daniel Hirtz.
As a clinical and political psychologist with more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Eileen Borris works with emerging democracies, helping nations of people reconcile centuries-old conflicts through forgiveness. Phoenix, AZ, 20 February 2014. The FUSION Foundation thanks all community members who raised thier voices to support the rights of women and LGBTQ community, demanding the defeat of SB 1062 "legalized discrimination of LGBTQ and women" during the last week. This bill, which seeks to expand the "right" to discriminate by allowing businesses to refuse service based on almost every aspect of an individual's life, is an outrageous unconstitutional affront to human rights.
We successfully partnered with friends in South Dakota and the same legislation was thoroughly defeated when the Republicans and Democrats saw through this ridiculous bill creating an enormous waste of energy and resources.
PHOENIX, ARIZONA (20 February 2014) — The FUSION Foundation issued this statement regarding Arizona Senate Bill 1062.
“The FUSION Foundation, a grassroots community development organization committed to creating a culture of peace, with national headquarters located in Phoenix, Arizona, is outraged by the Arizona State Senate passing SB 1062, a bill that advocates and validates discrimination toward the LGBTQ community in our state. The FUSION Foundation has a long history of advocating for human rights as a direct impact of reducing violence in our communities.
Bikes and Basketballs for Kids was established in 2011 by Joe Berman and then adopted by community philanthropist Carl Ames to provide bikes, bike helmets and basketballs to kids in the valley.
The community collaborators are pleased to announce the Third Bikes and Basketballs for Kids Annual Drive. We are asking customers and friends to “adopt” a kids bike/s to be donated to a local kid from underprivileged and low opportunity areas. You, your family, your friends, you company, your employer, your church or synagogue, support the purchase of one, two, three, or more bikes, or just contribute any amount to the bottom line.
This statement reflects the wisdom of the Spiritual People of the Earth, of North and South America, working in unity to restore peace, harmony and balance for our collective future and for all living beings.
This statement is written in black and white with a foreign language that is not our own and does not convey the full depth of our concerns.
The Creator created the People of the Earth into the Land at the beginning of Creation and gave us a way of life. This way of life has been passed down generation-to-generation since the beginning. We have not honored this way of life through our own actions and we must live these original instructions in order to restore universal balance and harmony. We are a part of Creation; thus, if we break the Laws of Creation, we destroy ourselves.
